Why does someone decide to become a therapist in the first place? I would assume it is because there is a need to help others. I would hope from the bottom of their hearts too. So why does it have to be about money? It is no longer about helping others when it becomes about the money. It becomes charging extortionate prices for a short period usually an hour to make more and more money for themselves. It is sickening. I know people need to make a living. I get that. But £60 for an hour to give someone much needed therapy which they are desperate for? That is ridiculous. 60 bloody pounds. Let that just sink in for a moment. For an hour? And many charge more. Wow. Just one big huge wow. I'm not talking just therapists but people in all fields where they have the opportunity, skill, or talent to make someone's life better. There should not be a price tag on that. Mediums for example. You could potentially change someone's life for the better. Give them much needed reassurance. But yet you charge over the top prices which means many cannot even afford to see a medium. And if you become well known to celebs then suddenly your prices are too good for regular people. Your prices are now up even higher becomes it seems you must think your clientele list should match the price list. Really? Celebs are just people like everyone else. They are no different or no special. So why? Why does that mean it makes your prices go higher because you've read for a few celebs? Greed and ego comes to mind. Sooner people realise it isn't about the money but about helping people for the right reasons the better. I came across another type of therapist this week who wants to charge their clients £200 to scan and if any remove attached spirits. Jee they don't even come visit you. They do it remotely. £200. Seriously? Greed! If it's truly about helping others in making their lives better then the price tag don't need to be so high.
Some might say I'm jealous for this rant because they are making money. Trust me. I'm not. Money I know does NOT bring happiness. It may for a short, temporary period but it never lasts. You find true happiness from within. I prefer to help people without a huge price tag. Seeing someone happy makes me happy and all for free. If they need advice. I'm not going to turn to my friend and say. "Ok but I need £60 to give it you" They would tell me to sod off and think what a money, grabbing selfish cow she is. And quite rightly. As I said I get people need to make a living. We live in an expensive world due to a bunch of other selfish and greedy minded people out there. But seriously I'm sure many of you can get away with making the prices lower so people with less money can get that help. Because EVERYONE deserves help at the end of the day. Right?
